This years Chain Link Conference was fantastic. Starting with PDD and luncheon. Robin Chachula was this years PDD chair and she organized a fantastic day.
Kristin Omdahl of Styled By Kristin (http://www.StyledbyKristin.com ) was the guest speaker. She spoke on how and why she got started as a professional, and was she ever inspirational. Lily Chin spoke on what is like to be a professional teacher and the folks from Lion brand showed some great yarn that we got to get our hands on. There is a great slide show on the CGOA NOW blog. http://cgoanow.blogspot.com/
The luncheon was 'Tex-Mex' And ya know I love me some salsa! I sat with new tome folk and laughed at Shanon's humor till I just about .... my self. Lol! It's still funny when I think back on it.
The break out round table sessions after were interesting and informative, and we came away with the hand outs for all even though we only had time to sit for three. If you are at all interested in being a professional in the crochet/knit industry PDD at next years conference is a must to add to your schedule.
The The Design contest was phenomenal. For the best pics of the contest go to this link http://doriseverydaycrochet.blogspot.com/2010/07/cgoa-2010-design-competition-results.html
